- To prevent misuse by older adults
- To keep them away from young people
HOW?
Pharmaceuticals can be dangerous for the environment if improperly disposed. Unfortunately at this time, there is no simple disposal option – and as a result medications are being flushed down toilets and thrown out with the garbage. As a result, traces of pharmaceuticals have started showing up in drinking water supplies and in land fills, polluting the environment.
